Welcome to "Alpha Beta Gamma Delta"!

I really wanted to name this blog "Alpha Beta Gamma" but that blogspot domain was taken already so I'm left with "Alpha Beta Gamma Delta" for the moment. I might change it if the other domain becomes available.

There are a couple of reasons why I chose this name.

Firstly, alpha, beta, gamma and delta are all terms that will be very familiar to anyone working in quantitative finance and my aim for this blog is to be about quantitative finance.

Moreover though, alpha, beta, gamma and delta are the first four letters of the greek alphabet. Thus they are much like the "a b c" that we learn in school. What I want to show with this is that this blog is mostly a platform for my exploration of quantitative finance, to capture me learning the abc of quatitative finance, or more aptly the AlphaBetaGamma of quantitative finance.
